Many Libertarians have wandered why the party nominated Bob Barr, a former Republican Congressman, to be our Presidential Candidate. I honestly believe that the Libertarian Party was trying to elect a Candidate that they felt would make some serious noise in this election. Bob Barr is a conservative, states rights, little 'l' Libertarian. That choice in theory really reaches out to the conservative base of the Republican party that felt betrayed by John McCain getting the nomination. I think that Barr was a good choice in this election because he is really the only viable Liberty defending Candidate for President. I guess this will be one of my last posts on Barr before Nov. 4th. I only hope we can take 5% of the national vote. Barr will defend our Bill of Rights, will shrink the Federal budget, end the IRS, end the Fed Reserve, will lower taxes, and help start paying off the national debt. America he is our only choice. Please vote your conscience.
