Obama Uniting America?

I don't understand Obama's claim that he can unite America. We have all heard his speech "there is no red America, no blue America, there is only the United States of America!" This statement sounds good. There is a small problem however. . . Obama doesn't believe in a red or blue America, but he does believe in a "middle class" America and a "wealthy" America. He is adamant that those Americans making more than $250,000 have a "Patriotic duty" to pay more in taxes. He claims he will "ask" them to pay a little more. Mr. Obama when you phrase it that way it seems that your not going to force them to pay it. Is your tax plan optional? His tax plan divides this country more than any other tax plan this country has seen. The claim that Obama can unite this country is laughable at best and pathetic at worst. Regardless of the results Nov. 4th this is going to be a long 4 years.

Barr the Best Choice for Libertarians in 2008

Many Libertarians have wandered why the party nominated Bob Barr, a former Republican Congressman, to be our Presidential Candidate. I honestly believe that the Libertarian Party was trying to elect a Candidate that they felt would make some serious noise in this election. Bob Barr is a conservative, states rights, little 'l' Libertarian. That choice in theory really reaches out to the conservative base of the Republican party that felt betrayed by John McCain getting the nomination. I think that Barr was a good choice in this election because he is really the only viable Liberty defending Candidate for President. I guess this will be one of my last posts on Barr before Nov. 4th. I only hope we can take 5% of the national vote. Barr will defend our Bill of Rights, will shrink the Federal budget, end the IRS, end the Fed Reserve, will lower taxes, and help start paying off the national debt. America he is our only choice. Please vote your conscience.

McCain!

I honestly don't know how many Americans were watching the debates. McCain accuses Obama of Socialism, yet McCain voted for the $700 Billion bailout and he also supportes the Federal government buying of bad mortgages. McCain didn't speak out against the US governments buying into the US banking industry. McCain may not represent the obvious form of socialism but he still represents bigger government, more spending, and above all supports the failed foriegn policy that has lead to the major blowback that has resulted in the US being one of the most hated countries in the world. McCain still wants to send peace keeping troops to Georgia. Guys face reality and realize McCain and Obama both represent the same old form of Washington politics.

Redistribution of Wealth?

Can you say Socialism 08?

A lot of Americans are saying it right now in a new form "Obama 08"!
